Bar Worker​​

Join our award-winning bar team and be at the heart of the action across the Union Bar, Wee Bar and Mandela Hall! As a Bar Worker, you’ll be serving drinks and food, keeping the bar buzzing, and making sure our guests have a great time. You’ll keep things clean, safe, and well-stocked while providing top-notch customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Event Steward

Be the friendly face that makes every night unforgettable. As an Event Steward, you’ll welcome guests, provide assistance when needed, and help ensure events run smoothly and safely. From keeping spaces tidy to supporting our licensed team, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

Door Supervisor

Step up to the front line of Union Bar’s entertainment experience. As a Door Supervisor, you’ll set the tone with a warm welcome while ensuring the safety and security of all guests. With your vigilance, professionalism, and SIA-licensed skills, you’ll help create an environment where everyone can relax and enjoy the night.​

Event Crew

​Be part of the backstage magic that brings our shows to life. As part of the Event Crew, you’ll work with our Production Manager to set up, run, and break down live events in Mandela Hall and the Union Bar. From handling staging and equipment to helping artists and organisers, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering unforgettable events. Technical experience in AV and Audio setup is useful, but not essential as we will provide full training. Many of our alumni have gone on to full time careers in the music industry. ​

 

Please note, this is a technical position and not bar work.
